Let’s be real, corruption in Kenya isn’t just a problem, it’s practically a main character. From shady tenders to mysteriously disappearing billions, it’s a drama we didn’t ask for but can’t seem to escape. According to the 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index by Transparency International, Kenya scored a not-so-impressive 31 out of 100, landing us at 126 out of 180 countries. Ouch. That tells you everything about the trust gap between the public and the powers that be.
At CGA, we decided to flip the script. Literally. We created a ten-part mockumentary series shining a cheeky, satirical spotlight on some of Kenya’s biggest corruption scandals. Why mockumentary? Because too often we get distracted by the noise, side shows, drama, and PR spins and forget the real issues. This series is available on Kalabars, breaks it down with humor, honesty, and a touch of outrage. It’s storytelling with bite and a reminder that laughter can be a powerful tool for truth.
